SMK Negeri 1 Tejakula has once again taken an important step in improving the quality of education. The school participated in the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) for the Vocational High School Center of Excellence (SMK PK) Regular Scheme 2025 held in Jakarta.
The event was attended by the Acting Principal of SMK Negeri 1 Tejakula, Dr. Gede Sukanaya, S.Pd., M.Pd., along with the Vice Principal for Curriculum, I Made Suartana, S.Pd., and the Vice Principal for Facilities and Infrastructure, Gede Raharja Dangin, S.Pd.
In this technical guidance, the SMK Negeri 1 Tejakula team received assistance in strengthening learning design and planning the construction of a Hospitality Student Practice Room (RPS). The development of this practice room is a strategic effort to provide modern, representative learning facilities that meet hospitality industry standards.
Another important moment was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the SMK PK Regular Scheme 2025 Program. Through this MoU, SMK Negeri 1 Tejakula reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with the business and industrial sectors, as well as developing a more relevant curriculum.
With this MoU, SMK Negeri 1 Tejakula is more determined to enhance the quality of vocational education, provide the best learning experiences for students, and prepare graduates who are excellent, competitive, and ready to face global challenges.
The Acting Principal of SMK Negeri 1 Tejakula, Dr. Gede Sukanaya, S.Pd., M.Pd., stated that participation in the technical guidance and the signing of the MoU are significant steps forward. “With the MoU and assistance in learning design, we hope SMK Negeri 1 Tejakula can deliver higher-quality education services while preparing graduates who are ready to compete in the workforce, become entrepreneurs, or continue to higher education,” he said.
This activity is expected to have a positive impact on all students of SMK Negeri 1 Tejakula, particularly in the hospitality field, while making the school more adaptive to the demands of the times and industry needs.
