The students of SMKN 1 Tejakula won silver and bronze medals at the 3rd National Vocational/Islamic Vocational High School Mathematics Competition (Gema Lomba Matematika) in 2025

Penuktukan, Tejakula, Buleleng, Bali – SMKN 1 Tejakula successfully achieved a remarkable accomplishment at the 3rd National Vocational/Islamic Vocational High School Mathematics Competition (Gema Lomba Matematika) held in March 2025. Two students proudly brought home a silver medal and a bronze medal, demonstrating their strong learning spirit and mathematical skills.

SMKN 1 Tejakula sent four representatives to the preliminary round of the competition: I Gede Agus Maysa, Komang Revita Pramadewi, Kadek Anggi Arya Anjulina, and Luh Risma Riani. Out of the four, two students advanced to the final round, with Komang Revita Pramadewi (Hospitality Department) winning the silver medal and I Gede Agus Maysa (Hospitality Department) winning the bronze medal. They successfully showcased their abilities in solving theoretical mathematics problems.

Komang Revita Pramadewi, who won the silver medal, expressed her happiness and pride in her achievement.

“I am very happy to win the silver medal because this is a proud achievement for me. Despite the very limited preparation time due to the tight vocational practice schedule, I truly enjoyed the process. Even though I did not win the championship, I am very grateful and delighted to gain this extraordinary experience. I also appreciate the full support of my teachers who guided me through this competition,” she said.

Meanwhile, I Gede Agus Maysa, who won the bronze medal, also shared his gratitude.

“I learned a lot from this competition, especially about the importance of teamwork and perseverance. It was a memorable experience to meet amazing fellow participants. I am also thankful to the mathematics coaches who continuously motivated us. Hopefully, this achievement can inspire my friends to develop more interest in mathematics and participate in similar competitions in the future,” he stated.

The Principal of SMKN 1 Tejakula, Dr. Nyoman Sudimahayasa, ST, M.Pd., expressed his pride in his students’ achievements.

“This is tangible proof of the hard work and dedication of both the students and the teachers in the field of mathematics. We will continue to support and facilitate the development of students’ potential in this field,” he said.

This achievement by the students of SMKN 1 Tejakula is a source of pride for the school and the entire school community. Hopefully, it will serve as motivation for other students to keep learning and achieving in various fields.
